There are a lot of talking heads who generalize best practices and act like it's gospel. Don't listen to those people. Email is a product experience, gateway, and everything in between.
Nothing triggers me more (pun intended) than generalized best practices where so-called experts give binary advice to up-and-coming email marketers.
